I'm Ash, the face (and heart) behind Wild Womb Photography. I've had a passion for capturing candid moments since I was young, and my own experience as a pregnant person inspired me to support others on their journeys.

When I was pregnant, I did so much research. I thought I was prepared, I packed a bag full of comfort measures and felt ready to take on labor. But when contractions hit, I forgot everything I had learned. I remember thinking, I wish I had someone experienced to support me and my partner.

That experience shaped my path. Now, as a mother of two, I’m passionate about providing the kind of support I once needed, someone to guide, educate, and advocate for you so you can feel informed and empowered throughout your journey.

I also know how powerful birth photography can be. I still treasure the photos from my first birth, and I knew without a doubt I wanted my second one photographed as well. Those images take me right back to the raw, beautiful moments of labor, and it’s such an honor for me to capture those memories for others. When I'm photographing your birth, my goal is to document your story as it unfolds, so you and your partner can stay present in the moment.

My photography style is laid back, I love capturing you and your family as you are, with all the laughter, tears, and messy moments that make your story real.

Most importantly, I believe in informed decision-making. Your feelings matter, and you deserve to be heard and supported every step of the way. Whether you’re giving birth for the first time or navigating parenthood with little ones already in tow, I’m here to help you feel confident, prepared, and cared for.
